About:

Ms Ellie graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in South Africa and has over 12 years of experience in adult and paediatric rehabilitation. As part of her extensive background, she has been able to obtain confidence in vocational rehabilitation, adult and child psychiatry as well as special needs and deaf education. Ms Ellie’s special interest is working with and supporting families of children with special needs. As a result of this, she has had the opportunity to present and speak from a personal and professional perspective within the South African Deaf and Hearing-Impaired sector. Ms Ellie’s passion for the field is reflected in her excellent clinical knowledge, skills and ability to advocate for individuals with special needs.
